He is also a recognized Public Accountant and Tax Consultant for joint-stock companies in Egypt. During his tenure at KPMG Hazem Hassan, Mohamed gained extensive experience in auditing and financial consulting for some of the region’s largest and most reputable companies across various industries. His portfolio includes leading auditing projects for well-known companies in sectors like technology, manufacturing, and construction. EL Sayed Abd ELRahman

Mr. Abdel Rahman graduated from Cairo University, Faculty of Commerce, in 1982 with honors. He began his career in 1985 at the Customs Authority and advanced through the ranks to become the Director General of Customs Exemptions and the First Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance. During this period, he earned a Master’s in Public Administration from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport. His extensive experience includes clarifying how to benefit from customs exemptions under Customs Law No. 207 of 2020 for both individuals and organizations, resolving issues between the Customs Authority and stakeholders due to unfamiliarity with customs procedures, and conducting studies to obtain benefits as outlined in Article 6 of Presidential Decree No. 419 of 2018, as amended by Decree No. 549 of 2020. These benefits include reductions in customs tariffs for factories and companies. He also specializes in explaining how to utilize provisions for persons with disabilities under Law No. 10 of 2018 and managing disputes between the Customs Authority and stakeholders before judicial bodies, such as expert committees, arbitration panels, and dispute resolution committees. These experiences underscore Mr. Abdel Rahman’s significant expertise in customs and exemptions and his ability to address complex legal and procedural challenges effectively.
